AS95-Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Ayuthaya(2), Thailand

The beautiful Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a buddhist temple lying on the west bank of the Chao Phraya river in Ayuthaya. Built in 1630 its name literally means 'the temple of long reign and glorious era'. This shot was taken in late 2011 just before massive flooding in Thailand sadly destroyed large areas of Ayuthaya and collapsed valuable temple ruins including parts of this one.
