The SS Speke - Phillip Island - Australia

The SS Speke was one of the largest three masted ships ever built. On November 5th 1905 in heavy seas it was wrecked on rocks at Kitty Miller Bay, Phillip Island. With only part of the steel hull remaining today, it is a stark reminder of past shipping and the perils of being at sea.
